Lisa Auguste
Lisa Auguste (pronounced O geest) is a multi-faceted performer working out of Toronto,Ontario. She has trained extensively in ballet, tap, jazz, acrobatics, modern, salsa, hiphop, breakdance, and acting, and is an avid teacher, choreographer and student of her craft. Lisa can be seen in the feature film "Shall We Dance" starring Richard Gere and Jennifer Lopez and choreographed by Fatima, as well as music videos for Our Lady Peace, Lauryn Taylor, Love Inc. Jully Black and Shawn Desmond. She was a featured dancer on the Toronto One television show as well as the Kiss 92 1st annual award show, and the lead in the reality programs "Style By Jury" and "Match Maker" on the Life Network. Lisa was fortunate to play the role of the Cheetah in the Mirvish production of "The Lion King", thrilled to be apart of the prestigious Canandian Opera Company's renditions of Aida and Nixon in China. And always honoured to be involved in Helix Dance Project's inaugural show "Integration, Evolve and Verb.atim" choreographed by Linda Garneau. She has travelled through Europe, South America and the Caribbean as a dancer with both Royal Caribbean and Regal Empress cruiselines. Lisa has extensive experience as a dancer and guest choreographer in Toronto's professional sports dance scene with the Raptors, Blue Jays and Phantoms. She has also worked for Remax, Mac Cosmetics, Maxim Magazine and Stop Line Productions in several live industrial and fashion
shows. Currently Lisa is working as a teacher, choreographer and adjudicator throughout the GTA, where she is well known for her creative and disciplined style, with a touch of humour! She is also a member of Toronto's First Top 10 So you think you can dance Canada.
