Annie Cassar

Annie Cassar has dedicated her life to the performing arts and dance education. Holding a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Specialized Honours) in Dance from York University, teaching certificates in the B.A.T.D syllabus, Progressing Ballet Technique, and children’s yoga, Annie has extensive teaching and professional performing experience.

She has performed with renowned dance artists, companies and productions throughout the GTA and Canada which has taken her to perform in the USA as well. Some of which include Veronica Tennant, Jeff Dimitrou, Tino Sehgal, The Pan Am Games Opening Ceremonies, The 6th Annual Hum Awards, The Rogers Centre, The Art Gallery of Ontario, and The Princess of Wales Theatre to name a few. She is also an ACTRA member working in film and television and has worked and been featured in series and movies such as Make it Pop 2, Umbrella Academy, Tiny Pretty Things, Titans, Reign, Warehouse 13, Suits, Kids CBC and A Nutcracker Christmas plus many more.

 She has a broad range of choreography and teaching experience with all ages and levels in studios, schools, and other settings from beginner to professional and enjoys guiding her students with finding a passion of dance.

Annie’s dance specialties include ballet, contemporary, modern, jazz and tap and she is also adept in Brazilian samba, Bollywood, and Chinese dance styles.
